“一石三鸟”，高效产能

占地广阔的园区在运转时需要大量电力与热能的支持。一般来说，建筑物需要从电网获取电力，而通过燃煤得到热能。但是，在使用分布式能源系统后，园区内的燃气内燃机和微燃机在燃烧天然气发电时能将产生的热能也收集起来，并通过一系列装置将它们转化为人们工作、生活时需要的热能和冷，实现了冷热电三联供。这种“一石三鸟”的产能方式大大提高了能源利用率。
西门子的Spectrum Power平台则可以根据园区的实际用能需要，调整冷、热和电三种能源的产量，让能源“物尽其用”。
精打细算，智慧“持家”

光是高效产能还不够，园区运营者需要操心的是从产能到用能的整个过程。如何减少能源消耗，做到能源成本最低，以实现“勤俭持家”，是他们面临的一大挑战。西门子Spectrum Power平台便是研发中心的“智慧管家”。它“精打细算”，让园区内各种能源都“用在刀刃上”，让能源产、用过程的经济性达到最高。
研发中心使用的一次能源包括天然气与太阳能。西门子Spectrum Power平台搭载的MGMS微网管理系统可以利用先进的优化算法，根据用户侧用电量和能源价格的波动，制定经济性最高的微电网运行计划。举例来说，当公共电网电价较低时，系统会增加从公共电网购买的电量，停止微电网内燃气发电，并利用光伏发电为储能系统蓄满电力。而当公共电网电价较高时，系统则会减少从公共电网购买的电量，转而使用储能系统中的电力，或主要使用燃气发电和光伏发电。
此外，MGMS微网管理系统的预测算法还可以根据天气情况和历史数据对发电及储能情况进行预测性计算，制定未来发电计划。优化算法与预测算法相辅相成，进一步提高了系统的经济性。
稳如泰山，不惧停电

作为园区运营者，最操心的恐怕就是电网的稳定了，而有了西门子Spectrum Power平台，这一点也不再是困扰。
由于太阳能受天气影响较大，为保证微电网不会在光伏发电量波动时受到冲击，MGMS微网管理系统可以利用平滑滤波功能，通过灵活调度储能系统与燃气发电设备，对光伏发电进行平衡和补充，保证了供电稳定。
而当公共电网出现故障，微电网也面临停电风险时，MGMS微网管理系统可以自动切换到离网状态，并利用自己的发电与储能系统维持微电网正常运行，等需要时再自动并回公共电网。它还可以利用储能系统进行黑启动，实现完全停电状态下的重启。有了MGMS微网管理系统，研发中心就再也不用担心停电了。
迈向可持续的未来

截至2018年7月，研发中心实验平台内所有西门子相关系统与设备都已投运。在未来，研发中心的研究成果将被应用到其它分布式能源项目中。
郑文广表示：“通过‘舍远求近’、‘化合为分’，我们与西门子携手，做到了智慧的能源生产、使用和管理。研发中心的研究成果将对我们未来在分布式能源领域的探索起到指导性的作用。我们相信，与西门子的携手合作将帮助我们迈向一个更加可持续的未来。”
除实验室项目外，西门子也已积极参与到微电网相关的商用项目中，其中就包括由阳光电源股份有限公司（阳光电源）承建的合肥市高新区微电网示范项目。该项目是国家发改委与国家能源局于2017年公布的28个新能源微电网示范项目之一。在项目中，西门子将为阳光电源提供基于新能源发电、储能和产业园区负荷的能源微网管理系统，帮助产业园区实现能源高效利用和绿色环保等目标。
